How Observant

The other night, the boys and Michael and I had a "family movie night". We don't have cable TV, so this is a special occasion that happens once or twice a month - we rent a family friendly movie, get some yummy snacks, grab blankets and pillows, sprawl out on the couch and enjoy an evening together. The boys are always excited about what their yummy snack might be, since candy is also rather in rare supply! The treat of the evening was dark-chocolate covered raisins. By the time Michael passed them out, the movie was already started, so he gave out small handfuls in the dark. They each got three small handfuls, spaced out through the movie... and while halfway through the very last handful, Joel says "Hey! I figured something out! These are chocolate raisins!"
