I'm Lovin' It

No, not McDonalds (blech!) ;-) Cool weather has come upon us, and considering we're half way through September, I have the slightest of hopes that it might be here to stay. Of course, cool is relative - the highs this week are supposed to be mid 70's-80, but the nights are supposed to be mid 50's-60's. We have turned off the AC (which Michael is thrilled about - those electric bills can be intimidating!) and are enjoying having windows open and the fresh air breezing through the house. Right now our thermostat says 74, which is lower than what we could usually get it to with the air on! Fall and Spring have always been my favorite seasons, so I am eager and excited for autumn to come into its fullness! Although, I have to admit, even though I've been here in the South for over 10 years... I'm still a northerner at heart and miss the really vibrant color that blesses the northeast. Our leaves change color, but nothing in comparison to New England! But I still appreciate the beauty of the changing seasons, very much. There's such an energy to it, an anticipation of something new... so exciting!!
