180 Days

Here in Georgia, we are required to complete 180 days of Homeschooling attendance. We've done it! We've "officially" finished our first year of homeschooling. Well, in the state's eyes anyway. To me, we're in the middle of our 7th year of homeschooling ;-) Ezra completed My Father's World Kindergarten, and even got a diploma from Daddy!

He is so excited to be moving on to 1st grade! We will still be using My Father's World curriculum, and 1st grade will be spent learning to read from Bible stories and memorizing select Proverbs. Isaac is just a little more than halfway through Adventures and we're still enjoying it very much. We plan to take a week or two off to get re-organized, and then our next "school year" begins. Organizing is going to consist of making chore charts, downsizing clothing and toys, deep cleaning, and working on better discipline in all of us! Things that can sometimes fall to the wayside in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
