A Scripture and Song for Saturday

I heard this for the first time this week and just love it. Its the gospel, plain and simple, straight from the Word of God. How can we do anything but worship Him when we realize the ransom He paid to redeem us, even while we still lost in our sin? I think it is impossible to reflect on the message of the gospel too much.

That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
Psalm 30:12

Isaiah 53:5

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed

We are healed by Your sacrifice
And the life that You gave
We are healed for You paid the price
By Your grace we are saved
We are saved

He was pierced for our transgressions
And crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed

We are healed by Your sacrifice
And the life that You gave
We are healed for You paid the price
By Your grace we are saved
We are saved

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed
And by His wounds, by His wounds

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
