Lost in Translation

During our evening prayers, I've been trying to encourage Nathan to pray. To start him out, I just have him repeat me in simple prayers (in Nathanese, of course). Tonight this is how it went:

Me: "Dear God,"
Nathan: "Dear God,"

Me: "I love you"
Nathan: "I love you"

Me: "Thank you for sending your son Jesus"
Nathan: "Thank you for sending your son Jesus"

Me: "To die for my sins so I can be with you"
Nathan: "To die for mama's sins so I can be with you"

hmm....
