New Look...

So, I drastically changed my blog look. I'm still toying with it in my head whether or not I like it. I liked the other one because of the colors (earthy browns are SO my thing!!) but I didn't like the format. I changed the template to a format I liked, but wasn't thrilled about the colors... so I did my own thing. I like simple and feminine... so, here it is. Anyway, if you stop by and read this, please let me know what you think! Yea or Nay? Honestly, I really like the idea/look of a 3 column blog, but I have no idea how to make one of my own, and Blogger doesn't seem to offer one, or maybe I just haven't seen it. WordPress does, but I don't want to change my url, sooo.... do any blog experts know how to do a custom template? Any hints or tips are much appreciated!!

Thanks Heather! The template is Rounders and I got the tips for changing the background from http://chocolateonmycranium.blogspot.com/2008/03/customizing-your-blog-part-1.html

There are so many different choices, it was hard to choose from! I'm glad you think it looks ok! :-)

Hi Erin, I noticed your new template earlier today and thought to myself, "Was her blog like this before? It's so pretty!" I got a web address that give you a walk-thru on how to create the three column format. However, I do not know if you can keep your cute background. One day when I have time, I plan to play with mine and see if I can have a cute background and the three columns! Happy blogging. I hope to see you at church on Sunday!

It's me again - I think I forgot to insert the link:

Good luck. I suggest printing it out and saving your current template first.

It looks great! The only way I know how to change the blog to three columns is to change the HTML, that's how I used to have mine. Let me know if you want me to write up how to do it. I don't remember it being too hard.

Erin,
Hey! Last year I made mine into a 3 column. I used a Blogger template and then used the helps from www.bloggerbuster.com/2007/07/create-three-column-blogger-template.html to make it into 3 columns. It took some time, but it was worth it. Be sure and save your template first like they recommend in case it doesn't work. :-) Another site I like alot is bloggingbasics101.com. A friend of mine found a pretty layout at pyzam.com/bloggertemplates,but it has lots of strange ads, etc. on the homepage. They have a huge selection and you can choose from the list on the left.

Hope this helps. I think what you have now is very pretty, though. :-)

Thought this might help. It has a lot of different three column templates.
